Target Behaviors

The Behavior Modification Program is intended for parents who are wanting to see a change in their child’s behavior. Some of the more common problematic behaviors addressed with this program include, failing to follow instructions at home and/or at school,  displaying a lack of respect for authority figures and/or family members, failing to complete classwork and homework, and overall misconduct. During the sessions, the parent, child, and therapist discuss target behaviors, the desired behaviors, and implement a plan that will facilitate this change in behavior. Progress will be assessed at each session, and adjustments to the constructed system will be made as needed.
